Darren Jolly, Sharrod Wellingham, Jarryd Blair, Dale Thomas and Tyson Goldsack received the honour alongside former defender Ian Cooper.
Club cult figure Jeff ‘Joffa’ Corfe was also recognised with a special services award.
McGuire thanked the premiership players for their part in the club’s history.
“You gave all of us an experience, a moment, that we will never forget. On behalf of Collingwood people everywhere, I thank you once again,” McGuire said.
“Life membership is Collingwood’s highest honour and without question you all thoroughly deserve it. You helped take us to the summit, you enriched the story of our club and you made us proud.”

Meanwhile, North Melbourne chairman Ben Buckley was also re-elected at the Kangaroos’ AGM last night.
Buckley, Shinboner of the Century Glenn Archer, and Dr. Sonja Hood were voted back in, while candidate Paul Crapper was unsuccessful in his bid to join the club’s board.
“I’m delighted to be returned to the post as chairman, and to be joined by Glenn and Sonja; two very dedicated, loyal, lifelong North Melbourne supporters and exceptional people,” Buckley said.
“We have a fantastic Board who are committed to the growth of North Melbourne and our aspiration to climb up the ladder, and to achieve our fifth premiership.”
