AFL teams round 18: See all the ins and outs for this week’s games
Just a week after surgery on a broken finger, Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury will face GWS. However, it is bad news for Nat Fyfe owners in SuperCoach, with the star Docker a shock out. FULL TEAMS.

Don't miss out on the headlines from Collingwood. Followed categories will be added to My News.
Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury is on track to overcome a broken finger in time to take on Greater Western Sydney.
The inspirational skipper had two screws inserted into his left middle finger on Saturday after cracking it in the one-point win over West Coast last weekend.
Pendlebury, 31, trained well on Thursday and has received medical clearance to take on the Giants, if he can manage the pain and restriction in the finger.

Pendlebury is likely to wear a guard to help protect the wound as the Magpies shoot for a second-straight win on the road.

However, it’s not all good news for the Magpies, with Jamie Elliott back on the injury list. He will miss along with John Noble, Levi Greenwood and Darcy Moore.
Jeremy Howe, Taylor Adams, Travis Varcoe and Flynn Appleby are all back.
ANOTHER WEEK OUT FOR HANNERBERY
— Rebecca Williams
ST KILDA interim coach Brett Ratten has confirmed Dan Hannebery will miss another week, but says there has been no thought given to putting a line through the rest of his season.
The Saints had to wait until Round 14 for their star recruit to make his debut for the club and the former Swan played just two senior games before he was sidelined again with hamstring soreness.
Ratten said Hannebery was close to selection for Sunday’s clash against the Western Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium, but the club did not want to take any risks with the 28-year-old.
He hoped Hannebery would be fit to return for next week against Melbourne.
“He was pretty close, but we won’t take that risk,’’ Ratten said.
“What he does this year will be a bonus for us and hopefully he gets back next week, but if he doesn’t we want to get him in a good space for 2020.
“But he could play next week and play the whole last five games. We will just leave that up to the medicos and make a decision then.”
Asked if the Saints had given any thought to putting Hannebery on ice for the rest of the year to get him primed for 2020, Ratten said: “Not at the moment, no.”
It has been a frustrating first season at Moorabbin for the three-time All-Australian, who signed a five-year deal to join the Saints.
In better news for the Saints, rookie Doulton Langlands willmake his AFL debut against the Dogs.
ABLETT, DANGERFIELD FAIL TO TRAIN
— Glenn McFarlane
GEELONG star Gary Ablett failed to train at GMHBA Stadium today, but Cats coach Chris Scott says he will be given every chance to prove his fitness ahead of Sunday’s clash with old rivals Hawthorn.
Ablett was troubled by a hip complaint in last Saturday’s win over St Kilda, but played out the game.
Scott said he was hopeful Ablett would be right to play, especially given the eight-day break, but conceded the dual Brownlow Medallist still had some hurdles to overcome before stepping out against the Hawks.
He will be named today in the team, with the Cats prepared to leave the decision up until the last minute.
“The only slight injury we had out of the game was Gary Ablett, and it looks as if he will be available, which is good,” Scott said.
Asked if he was “super confident” the 35-year-old would play, Scott said: “I’m not super confident because I don’t know exactly how he is feeling.”
“It’s Thursday, and we aren’t playing until Sunday. There’s still plenty of time to make that decision.
“In my opinion, it is an error to try and predict early in the week how things will pan out. What is easier is if they are ruled out, (and) he hasn’t been ruled out so in my mind the potential for him to play is still there.
“Yeah, there are some hurdles, but every player has hurdles to get over between Thursday and Sunday.”
Patrick Dangerfield did not train either, but seems certain to play, as will Jake Kolodjashnij, who will return from concussion.
Scott Selwood is likely to be named in the squad and is “very, very close” to playing, but may still play one more game in the VFL.
Scott said he thought the Cats still had “significant improvement” to come following the solid effort against the Saints last week.
“I thought we played ok,” he said. “We thought St Kilda played well ... and I think it’s the wrong mindset to be in that if we didn’t win by 10 goals, we didn’t play well.”
He said Hawthorn loomed as a dangerous opponent: “if you do through the names on paper, they’re pretty good names. We need to play really well to beat them.”
ESSENDON DRAFTEE GETS NOT
Eight weeks after being given an AFL-lifeline in the mid-season draft — and 1056 days after his first, and only, game at the top-level — former Power-listed midfielder Will Snelling will make his Essendon debut against the Crows on Friday night.
The 21-year-old, who was plucked by the Bombers after a terrific first half of the year for West Adelaide in the SANFL, will be named in the 22 for the trip to Adelaide Oval.

It’s reward for the tough, 176cm Snelling who has impressed in his first six VFL matches after moving interstate.
Playing through the midfield and across half-forward, Snelling has averaged 26 disposals, 13 contested possessions and eight tackles — all numbers which rate elite — per game.
In the past two rounds alone, Snelling, who made his debut for Port Adelaide against the Gold Coast in Round 23, 2016, has amassed 54 disposals and 20 tackles
The numbers, however, should come as little surprise with the Bombers swooping at No. 7 in May’s mid-season draft after Snelling’s outstanding start to the SANFL season.
In his final four matches for the Bloods, Snelling averaged 36 disposals and 13 tackles.
