Carlton midfielder Will Setterfield could face scrutiny from match review officer Michael Christian after a heavy tackle which forced Gold Coast’s Wil Powell out of Sunday’s match.
Powell had to be helped from the field by trainers after he had his right arm pinned and was driven into the ground by a Setterfield tackle during the second quarter at Metricon Stadium.
Powell underwent concussion testing and has reportedly been ruled out for the rest of the Round 4 match.
“Will might also be thinking something might be coming his way there,” former Suns assistant coach Matthew Primus said on SEN.
“Whatever is done is done. You would think (Marc) Murphy, (Patrick) Cripps and the coaches also would have been in his ear.”
