BRISBANE has suffered a blow on the eve of the AFL season with forward Allen Christensen re-injuring his troublesome collarbone at training on Saturday.

The 25-year-old missed 12 weeks last season after breaking the same collarbone following a high bump from Andrew Walker in the club’s Round 11 loss to Carlton.

He will subsequently undergo scans on Monday in order to assess the severity of the injury, with fears he could miss the side’s Round 1 clash with Gold Coast as a result.

Christensen has played 33 games for Brisbane after moving to the club from Geelong at the end of 2014, kicking 26 goals for the Lions over the last two years.
