Brisbane’s brilliant season has been rewarded by the AFL with the Lions set to host Easter Thursday clashes at the Gabba until 2022.
The deal will be announced this morning and has been brokered between the AFL, the Queensland State Government, Brisbane and Collingwood.
The Lions and Magpies will reprise their 2019 meeting in 2020 and 2021 with another Victorian side tipped to play in the 2022 fixture.
