It was the boom Harry Sheezel owners were waiting for.

A 135-point return against Port Adelaide has powered the North Melbourne young gun back into the conversation for the top defenders in SuperCoach – and a role change could be behind the spike.

For the first time this season, Sheezel did not attend a centre bounce in round 7.

The return of George Wardlaw and boosts for Luke Parker and Jy Simpkin allowed Sheezel to do his best work on the outside – and take four kick-ins, after taking just one in the first six rounds.

St Kilda’s midfield had a big shake-up at the weekend as a frustrated Ross Lyon searched for answers to Brisbane’s onball dominance.

Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera attended 53 per cent of CBAs and Jack Sinclair was at 23 per cent – both season highs.

Meanwhile, Josh Dunkley attended a season-low 50 per cent as Hugh McCluggage jumped above him in the CBA pecking order at the Lions. Dunkley’s price is down to $529,800 with a three-round average of 90 and a Break Even of 129.

Another player of high interest to SuperCoaches this week is Chad Warner, who earned MID-FWD status after spending lots of time forward in the first six rounds. But since then his role has changed, attending 70 and 78 per cent of CBAs in the past two rounds.
