SuperCoach 2017: Jay Clark’s line-up features superstars and two huge bolters

At the top of the list is Essendon’s ruck saviour Shaun McKernan.

Jay has slotted him in as his third most expensive forward, topped only by Western Bulldogs duo Luke Dahlhaus and Jackson Macrae.

Jay could be onto something. In 2015, McKernan averaged 83.7 points across nine games. A similar return this year would be a great result. McKernan is the only Bomber to make the grade in Jay’s team.

The other surprise comes in the midfield.

The top five positions are dominated by well-known stars before Melbourne youngster Clayton Oliver is given the call up.

Oliver averaged 70 points across his 13 AFL games last season. He comes with a price tag of $382,500.

Through three JLT Series games, Oliver is averaging an impressive 108.7 points.

Jay also hasn’t missed on a few of the cheap options who are expected to have big years.

He has found room for former Giant Caleb Marchbank, Adelaide’s Curtly Hampton, North Melbourne youngster Mitchell Hibberd and top Gold Coast prospect Ben Ainsworth.
