See all the late team news and every SuperCoach score from Round 13 of the AFL season

If you traded Kangaroos star Ben Cunnington into your SuperCoach team, look away now. The midfielder is tagger Matt de Boer’s latest victim, tallying his lowest score of the season by a long way.

Matt de Boer is a SuperCoaches worst nightmare and the GWS tagger struck again in Hobart on Sunday.

de Boer restricted premium midfielder Ben Cunnington to his lowest SuperCoach score this season - by a long way - as he managed just 59 points.

Cunnington has been one of the most popular trade in options in the midfield given he has soared into the top three scorers for that position this season, averaging 114.8 points per game before Sunday.

The star Kangaroo could manage just 16 disposals and de Boer followed his every move and allowed him next to no space throughout the game.

In a match where some of SuperCoach’s top scorers took centre stage, it was Josh Dunkley who stole the show.

Thrust back into the Western Bulldogs midfield in the past month, Dunkley continued his purple patch when he reached 71 SuperCoach points at quarter-time and finished with 173.

The Bulldogs midfield dominated their clash against Carlton at Marvel Stadium as Jack Macrae (150), Pat Lipinski (129), Tim English (121) and Marcus Bontempelli (112) scored hundreds.

Charlie Curnow was the star for Carlton with seven goals and 154 points.

ADELAIDE V RICHMOND

Late change: Mabior Chol in for Ivan Soldo (illness)

Heroes: What more can we say about Reilly O’Brien’s brilliance? With Max Gawn and Brodie Grundy enjoying a week off, O’Brien stepped into the void with a monster game which yielded 19 disposals, 54 hit outs and 181 SuperCoach points. Brad Crouch was 98 points at halftime and finished with 129, while Rory Sloane continued his consistent season with 125. There were only two Tigers who cracked the ton, stand-in skipper Dustin Martin and young gun Sydney Stack.

Villains: It’s time to move on Noah Balta if you didn’t this week. His break even was 109 heading into Round 13 and although he’ll lose value, he’s still made a handy profit on your initial investment. Brodie Smith managed 74, but he’s not scoring the elite numbers to be a defensive keeper. Start making plans to move him on when Adelaide has the Round 14 bye.

ESSENDON V HAWTHORN

Hero: With some key superstars having the bye this week, there weren’t too many VC options. But anyone who went with Zach Merrett will be extremely happy after his huge score of 138. Don’t risk it. Bank those points and run with them.

Villain: It was his first game back form injury but Dylan Shiel didn’t exactly set the world on fire. He scored just 61. SuperCoaches who held onto him throughout the lay-off would have been hoping to be rewarded with double that. Ouch!

Heroes: Jack Billings produced one of the best individual games of the year to will St Kilda home. 33 disposals, eight marks, 11 tackles and two clutch last-quarter goals lifted his SuperCoach score to 169. He was one of the players who kept St Kilda in touch in the first half and his score at the main break reflected his importance. Any thoughts ruckman Rowan Marshall might drop off in the second half of the year were quashed when he managed 122 against Jarrod Witts, having a significant influence around the ground.

Villains: If you hadn’t already traded Matt Parker hoping he would get you through the byes, now is the time. Parker was still in 62,500 teams this week and had a break even of 23, so at least he made some cash. But with a score of 46, he’s likely to lose value in Round 14 and decrease the chances you can turn him directly into a premium. Former Cat George Horlin-Smith was the lowest scorer on the ground with only 14 points.

FREMANTLE V PORT ADELAIDE

Heroes: Michael Walters will likely be one of the most traded in players this week after his six goals and 158-point SuperCoach performance — the online problem is, his price will soar. Those who had the VC on Nat Fyfe weren’t disappointed, with the Fremantle skipper outstanding notching up 129 points. Those who traded in Docker Luke Ryan would have been rubbing their hands together after his electric start but he could only manage just over 40 points after quarter time to finish on 88. Travis Boak was Port Adelaide’s best with 121 points, continuing his great form this season, while Scott Lycee (111), Ryan Burton (105), Tom Jonas (102) hit triple figures. Robbie Gray scored 99 in a good performance in a losing side.

Villains: SuperCoaches expect more from premium dual position status player David Mundy than his 76 points. Connor Rozee couldn’t back up his 81 points before the bye, managing just 44 points.

CARLTON V WESTERN BULLDOGS

Heroes: Where do you start? Eight Western Bulldogs players scored tons, with Josh Dunkley (173) the best of a prolific bunch. Jack Macrae (150) started the game on Patrick Cripps but still won plenty of his own ball. Charlie Curnow bagged seven goals on his way to a team-high 154 for Carlton, while three others Blues reached triple figures to make it 12 century scores for the game!

Villains: Hard to fault a second-gamer, but thousands of coaches traded in Ryan Gardner this week hoping for scores at least close to his debut 41. He kicked a goal, but otherwise was rarely sighted and scored 22. Tom Liberatore’s injury when he was on 30 makes him a must-trade heading into Round 14, if you have been patient and held on this long. Sam Walsh (50) and Michael Gibbons (34) can also be safely traded as Carlton prepares for its bye. Walsh to Lachie Neale will be a very popular trade this week.

NORTH MELBOURNE V GWS GIANTS

Heroes: Take your pick from the popular Giants. Zac Williams (143), Stephen Coniglio (130), Josh Kelly (128) and Shane Mumford (117) all had huge games against North Melbourne, delivering for SuperCoaches in what has been a tough Round 13 bye round. Eight GWS players hit triple figures, including Jacob Hopper and Tim Taranto, who have had outstanding seasons. Keep your eye on Toby Greene (104 points) because if he can get his body right, he’ll be a SuperCoach steal. Todd Goldstein was North Melbourne’s best performer with 97 points.

Villains: Ben Cunnington where for art thou? The Kangaroo is tagger Matt de Boer’s latest victim, scoring his lowest points (by a long way) for the season with a measly 59. Ouch. Jeremy Cameron has put up some big numbers this season but couldn’t join in the Giants’ party on Sunday, scoring just 54. Popular cash cow Nick Larkey was quiet, managing just 40 points.
