RILEY Garcia can perhaps consider himself unlucky to be dropped from the Bulldogs team last week, but he’s ready if Luke Beveridge needs him after the bye.

The lively half-forward starred for Footscray with 31 disposals, 18 contested possessions and eight tackles in a performance worth 155 SuperCoach points.

Garcia has played four VFL games this season for scores of 183, 131, 148 and 155.

His namesake Hugo Garcia is averaging 115 at the lower level after a 108-point game for Sandringham, against Brisbane. He had 10 tackles to go with 18 disposals and a dozen contested possessions.

Meanwhile, Port Adelaide has some options if Ken Hinkley wants to fix his misfiring forward line, even if Charlie Dixon has been rubbed out for three weeks by the SANFL tribunal.

Jeremy Finlayson responded to being dropped with a 158-SuperCoach point performance against West Adelaide. Finlayson had 25 disposals, seven marks, nine score assists and kicked 1.3. Teenage key forward Tom Scully kicked four goals for 90 points while Jordon Sweet dominated in the ruck (43 hitouts, nine to advantage, 137 SuperCoach points).
