The big guns shone brightly, but some potential cash-cows have left SuperCoaches with plenty of pondering in the coming fortnight.
Collingwood scraped home against Carlton in an entertaining JLT Series clash in Morwell, and the Pies’ talent-stocked midfield led the way.

Adam Treloar ($594,200 midfielder), Steele Sidebottom ($551,700 midfielder) and skipper Scott Pendlebury ($562,200 midfielder) all cracked three figures for the Pies, convincing SuperCoaches they won’t go wrong with any of the trio in 2019.
Darcy Moore ($239,400 def/fwd) also impressed and took plenty of kick outs, the oft-injured tall likely to jump onto the radar of many still pondering their final selections.
For Carlton, usual high scorers Patrick Cripps ($648,200 midfielder) and veteran Kade Simpson ($570,300 defender) were the only players to hit three figures, but No.1 draft pick Sam Walsh ($207,300 midfielder) did nothing to deter coaches with another polished display.
There are some big decisions to make, however, for those thinking the Blues might be cash-cow kingdom this season.
Popular picks Nic Newman ($394,100 defender) and Michael Gibbons ($102,400 midfielder) were quieter and could find themselves booted from some sides ahead of Round 1.
