IT’S a tough round to call and there are mixed feelings from our experts tipsters particularly for Essendon’s clash with GWS and North’s trip to Perth.

Sarah Jones remains top of the leader board with Dermott Brereton, Chris Cavanagh and Gerard Whateley hot on her heels.

Backing the Bombers to cause another upset, Cavanagh the 2017 champion said: “If Essendon brings the pressure and intensity it brought against Geelong last week the Bombers will easily topple the struggling Giants. But that is a big ‘if’.”

West Coast cops plenty for not being able to get the job done on the eastern side of the Nullarbor, but expect them to topple the Hawks with gusto and Jack Darling to build on his epic form. A star.

Toss of the coin in several games, most notably Essendon v GWS and Crows v Demons. To be honest, sweated on North v Dockers, too, only because the Dockers are five goals better at home. They’ll need to be.

The last time Carlton won at Kardinia Park the year was 1996, the Blues were reigning premiers and they kept a Gary Ablett wearing No.5 to just five disposals. This time around a Gary Ablett wearing No.4 will have closer to 50 disposals as the Cats hammer the Blues closer to yet another top-three draft pick.
