Fans have ridiculed the AFL’s biggest sponsor, claiming its ad near the centre circle resembles female reproductive organs.

The ad in question is on the centre wing and features a silhouette of a captain and coach lifting the premiership trophy.

But while the iconic image is almost instantly recognisable to most footy fans, some saw the textbook image of a uterus in the greyed out silhouette.

The logo has been seen at every ground this weekend and has seen plenty of comments as fans all rushed to the same joke.

The AFL season has got off to a rollicking start, bringing 291,959 fans through the turnstiles — leaving the opening round of the 2023 season 108,442 short of the all-time record with three matches attendances still to roll in from the Sunday matches.

That record was set back in round one of 2017 at 400,401.

The MCG tweeted on Friday night the 8.10 (58) to 8.10 (58) draw between the Tigers and Blues was the “second biggest crowd for a Round 1 match between Richmond and Carlton ever.”
