SAM Lloyd’s after-the-siren match-winning goal against Sydney in 2016 will go down in Richmond folklore.
After the forward was traded to the Western Bulldogs - in exchange for pick No.64 - we thought we’d let Tigers fans get a little nostalgic one last time.

Down by five points with 30 seconds left, the Tigers went the length of the field and Ben Griffiths found Lloyd with just seven seconds left. And the rest, as they say, is history.
The mature-age recruit was drafted to the Tigers with pick No.66 2013 and Richmond football manager Neil Balme thanked Lloyd for his service.
“Sam came to Richmond as a 23-year-old and quickly became a popular person amongst the players, coaches and staff,” Balme told the club website.
“He had limited opportunities at AFL-level this year and we respect his decision to seek a trade.
“We wish him all the best in his future at the Western Bulldogs.”
Bulldogs list manager Sam Power said Lloyd would be a valuable addition at the Kennel.
“We’re delighted to have Sam arrive,” he told the club website.
“We recognised Sam as a player who addresses an important need for us, in terms of his ability to hit the scoreboard, and he also provides an extra midfield option for us.
“Sam is a great character and he will be a great fit at the Bulldogs. We’re confident that he’s got plenty of good football ahead of him.”
