The Sandringham Dragons have secured victory in their top of the table clash with Greater Western Victoria Rebels on the back of a strong first half at Mars Stadium, Ballarat.
Two goals to Dante Visentini in the opening half allowed the Dragons to go to the main break 18 points in front.

Despite the Rebels ensuring it was a closely fought contest, they couldn’t bridge the gap in the second half, with the Dragons pulling away when it mattered most to record at 24-point victory.
Their win and consolidation on top of the ladder comes without their highly rated AFL draft prospect Josh Sinn, who faces another two weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
Sinn has managed just five NAB League games for the Sandringham Dragons so far this season, having also missed matches with a hamstring injury earlier this year.
