AFL Draft Combine invites list: Every player selected

Vic Metro may have won the under-18 national championships, but Vic Country holds some bragging rights over their rivals after the AFL announced the full draft combine lists.
Metro star Luke Trainor, who booted the goal after the siren to beat Country in the grand final, is one of the 18 Vic Metro players invited to the national combine.
But Vic Country pipped their state rivals, with 21 invitees to the event from October 4-6.
Footy’s heartland is expected to produce almost the entire top 10 at the draft, with the battle for the number one mantle still alive.
Richmond and North Melbourne will play this weekend, with the result likely deciding the team to hold the pick.
Vic Metro’s Josh Smillie, Jagga Smith, Levi Ashcroft, Luke Trainor and Murphy Reid have all been touted as a potential No. 1 pick, while Vic Country’s Finn O’Sullivan and Sam Lalor are also expected to be selected high.
South Australian key forward Tyler Welsh, who is tied to Adelaide as a father-son prospect, was a surprise snubbing from the national combine, however he will attend the state combine instead.
Every player that made the U18s All Australian team was invited to the combine, except for Gold Coast academy prospect Zeke Uwland, who is a bottom-aged player and ineligible for the draft in 2024.
