TIGER fans, get ready to jump the fence.
It’s a decade since an individual forward kicked 100 goals in a season and despite some early season optimism, it seems we can consign those days to the footy dustbin.
But that’s no reason to give up on the fabled century. Allow us to introduce the Double Coleman.

The newly-minted award cuts the medal in half and splits it between the best goalkicking partnership in the AFL.
And Richmond is in the box seat to claim another piece of silverware with Jack Riewoldt and Josh Caddy combining for 97 goals in 2018. They kicked 14 between them against Gold Coast last weekend and are just three away from cracking the ton.
But the award isn’t theirs just yet. The Tigers pair are five clear of a mid-size Hawks Luke Breust and Jack Gunston. Jack Ziebell’s move forward has helped North Melbourne rank equal-third with Melbourne, which boasts the top genuine key forward combo but is now handicapped by a season-ending injury to Jesse Hogan.
Collingwood’s pair of Will Hoskin-Elliott and Jordan De Goey rank seventh but that is more impressive than it looks. De Goey has played only 15 games and Magpies Josh Thomas (33) and Jaidyn Stephenson (30) have also kicked more than 30 goals — if this was the triple or quadruple Coleman the Pies would leap up the rankings.
Surprising results include the Giants ranking 10th and Port Adelaide 14th, one spot ahead of the supposedly high-scoring Bombers, who only moved above Carlton in Round 21 on the back of Anthony McDonald-Tipingwuti’s five goals (losing Joe Daniher for all but seven games, and eight goals, hasn’t helped).
