GEELONG champion Patrick Dangerfield has revealed what he said to Dustin Martin when the two teams met during the home and away season.
Cameras caught an exchange between the two midfield stars when the Cats hosted Richmond at Simonds Stadium in Round 21.

Dangerfield, when quizzed at the Brownlow Medal, said he lightheartedly tried to lure the Tigers gun to the Cattery.

“Dusty can attest to this, (I said) ‘We don’t have the salary cap room but I can take you out in my boat and I reckon you will look pretty good in Geelong colours’,” Dangerfield said on Channel 7.
“As (is the way with) Dusty’s humour, he was very dry and didn’t give me too much.”
