Majak Daw’s partner Emily has given birth to their first baby, a son born in the early hours of this morning.
It is heartwarming news for Daw and McKay, with his comeback a remarkable story after he fell off the Bolte Bridge late last year.
The pair announced Emily was heavily pregnant in April, posting: “Baby Daw coming soon”.

They told family and friends that their son has been born happy and healthy, and this evening took to social media to announce the news.
“Hendrix Kuat William Daw, our little man was born this morning around 1am. @emomckay and I are so thrilled and proud to be his parents,” Daw wrote on Instagram.
Daw made a successful return to VFL football this year and was pushing towards an AFL return before a season-ending hamstring injury.
