Say what?
We’re putting this one down to a serious slip of the tongue.
Former Adelaide Crows great and Fox Footy boundary rider Mark Ricciuto sounded like he got his vowels all mixed up when the commentary crew crossed to him for an update in Melbourne’s win over Adelaide on Wednesday night.
Providing an update on Crows youngster Will Hamill, who was left dazed after a sling tackle from Demon Alex Neal-Bullen, the word “wink” in Ricciuto’s cross came out a bit different to how he intended.
“Young Will Hamill has just come out and he is sitting on the bench boys and he gave me a w*nk and said I’m feeling pretty good,” Ricciuto said.
The Freudian slip was picked up by eagle ears watching at home and quickly shared on social media.
