WE know coaches don’t always agree with each other.
But it’s fair to say Dogs’ boss Luke Beveridge and his Sydney counterpart John Longmire took a very different view of the Swans’ thrilling win on Saturday afternoon, judging by the AFL coaches’ votes.

The only player they both thought was in the best five on the day was Swans’ midfielder Isaac Heeney, who polled the most with eight votes.
But from there it is quite curious.
Gun Dogs’ midfielder Jack Macrae received five votes from one of the clubs, but none from the other.
Macrae had another day out, racking up 34 possessions.
Likewise, key Dogs’ defender Aaron Naughton received four votes from one club, but none from the other.
Naughton had 17 possessions and seven marks, but was not in the top-20 ranked players in the field according to Champion Data’s AFL Player Ratings system.
For the record, Herald Sun reporter Sam Landsberger gave his votes to Luke Parker (three), Macrae (two) and Dane Rampe (one).
We look forward to Brownlow night to see what way the umpires went.’
