JLT Series squads named with stars including Dustin Martin, Jake Stringer and Bryce Gibbs to play

ESSENDON and Melbourne are set to unveil their star recruits in this weekend’s JLT games, while Richmond has named 19 premiership stars in a star-studded line-up.

ESSENDON and Melbourne are set to unveil their star recruits in this weekend’s JLT games.

The Bombers have included Jake Stringer, Adam Saad and Devon Smith to take on Richmond, which has named a star-studded line-up including premiership stars Dustin Martin, Jack Riewoldt, Trent Cotchin and Alex Rance.

Tigers top draftee Jack Higgins has also been selected.

Stringer has been named on the bench in the Dons’ 30-man squad, which will be cut by four before game time.

Jake Lever will play his first game for the Demons in the JLT Series opener against North Melbourne on Friday night.

The Demons have also selected a strong squad containing Jesse Hogan, Christian Petracca, Clayton Oliver and Max Gawn. As expected, Jack Viney has been left out.

North Melbourne has named No.4 draft pick Luke Davies-Uniacke.

Adelaide has picked big-name recruit Bryce Gibbs but Port Adelaide has left out ex-Brisbane star Tom Rockliff but included fellow recruits Jack Watts, Steven Motlop, Lindsay Thomas and Trent McKenzie.

The Power also included Robbie Gray, who was initially selected to play AFLX before he was withdrawn.

Nat Fyfe will spearhead the Dockers, who have named No. 2 draft pick Andrew Brayshaw.
