The Western Bulldogs asked the Dons for pick 11 in return for Jake Stringer, who wants to join the Bombers.

Kerr said the Dons also has “fruitful” discussions with GWS regarding small forward Devon Smith.
But No.6 pick Aaron Francis appears likely to remain at Essendon.
The South Australian requested a trade home to either Adelaide or Port Adelaide despite having two years to run on his contract.
The Bombers are sympathetic, but hope to retain the talented utility.
Kerr said talks with Adelaide and Port Adelaide surrounding Francis were unlikely to progress until deeper in trade period.
“We can bring in the three players without losing Aaron.”
