“It was pretty cold but we rugged up alright. It’s more reliable than doing it online, in case the system crashes,” she said.

“We’re about tenth in line so we’ll be right. We’ve been taking it in turns to stay in line; we’ve got a system.”

Cindym who has been following the black and white boys her whole life, was excited when they scored tickets.

“Successful!! Just got them,” she told the Herald Sun.

The AFL reserve for tickets officially sold out on Sunday.

There will be no on-sale tickets available for silver members.

The AFL is allocating 34,000 seats to be shared among Magpies and Eagles members.

The AFL has confirmed no public tickets will be available to the classic Aussie sporting contest, with even competing club, AFL and MCC members to feel the pinch.

Competing club members will receive the biggest allocation of AFL Grand Final tickets with 34,000 between the two teams.

Eligible members were required to register earlier this week and last, once their team qualified for the Preliminary finals.

The allocation of tickets will be randomly allocated to members who registered, once teams have qualified for the Premiership decider.

In the unlikely event there are any unallocated tickets after that process, they will be made available to competing club members.

A ballot has already been conducted for more than 13,000 pre-purchased reserved seats in the MCC Reserve.

The remaining 8500 seats and 1000 standing room spaces will be available on a walkup basis for Full members when Gate 2 opens at 8.00am on grand final morning.
