WHO did it better?

Both the Cats and the Crows did their best to come up with a pre-game psych out on Friday night at Adelaide Oval.

Geelong started things off, sending former premiership player Matthew Scarlett to do a radio interview to let everyone know where Patrick Dangerfield would line up.

“Yeah we’ve made a decision, he’ll start in the middle,” Scarlett said on Triple M.

“Then he’ll spend a bit of time in the front half as well.”

But wait, what’s this?

Patrick Dangerfield walked straight to the goal square to kick things off, even booting an early major.

Were the Cats hopeful that information would be relayed back to the Crows?

Meanwhile, Adelaide coach Don Pyke maintained all week that the Crows would just stand “normally” for the national anthem.

Well, judging by the intense look on skipper Taylor Walker’s face, the “Crow stare” was out in full force.
