FOR the first time champion goalkicker Tony Lockett has offered amazing insight into his extremely private life.
In an exclusive interview with Sunday Herald Sun chief football writer Mark Robinson, Lockett talks about being a father of four girls, living a peaceful life on the land and reveals that he has regrets about his decorated football career.
“Everyone’s got regrets,” he tells Robbo. “Ask anyone and if they say they haven’t, well, I don’t know whether they’ve lived.”
Robbo and photographer Michael Klein travelled to Bowral this week to spend the day with the 1987 Brownlow medallist.
He told them that he is not a recluse, that he is obsessed with motorbikes and why he made the biggest decision of his football career to leave St Kilda.
