Chris Judd departs Footy Classified as the show prepares for a major revamp
The winds of change are blowing through Footy Classified, with one panel member already out and plans for a major revamp in 2020, which could include more than one episode a week.

The winds of change are blowing through Footy Classified with Brownlow Medallist Chris Judd departing the Channel 9 show.
That’s unlikely to be the only change with a major revamp planned for 2020 including extra shows and new hosts.
After a tumultuous season in the hot seat where he struggled to combine it with his role as Carlton’s football director, Judd decided to walk away after the final show of the season last month.

Judd came under fire after the Blues sacked coach Brendon Bolton in June with Melbourne great Garry Lyon calling him out for continually backing the coach on the show.
He also found himself under the pump with his infamous “don’t want someone with training wheels on” line about the club’s search for a coach which was interpreted as a slight on caretaker David Teague.
Judd joined the show as a permanent co-host in 2018.
The question now is whether Judd will be the only major change from the line-up?
Original host Craig Hutchison’s business commitments continue to expand while Caroline Wilson has also been on the show since its inception in 2007.

Essendon champion Matthew Lloyd joined in 2013, taking over the seat which had previously been occupied by Wayne Carey, Glenn Archer and Grant Thomas.
Eddie McGuire’s JAM TV produces the Monday night show and is looking to shake it up with an increase to at least two nights a week on the agenda for next year.
It’s likely they would adopt a rotating host system with former Port Adelaide premiership player Kane Cornes expected to feature.
