THERE’S some hype about the emerging Blues and they will again get the first chance to strut their stuff when the AFL season kicks off in 2018.
Carlton will again kick off the season, with the 2018 AFL fixture revealing the Blues will watch the Tigers unfurl their premiership flag on Thursday March 22 when the two teams get the new season underway.
Carlton will come up against Bryce Gibbs — in a Crows jumper — in Round 7 when it travels to Adelaide Oval.
The Blues will play six home games at Etihad Stadium and five at the MCG, as well as travel to Geelong for the first time in almost 20 years.
