ALI Fahour’s football and professional careers could be terminated with a nine-week suspension at a suburban football tribunal hearing tomorrow tonight.
The Herald Sun understands that a nine-match sanction will trigger Fahour’s automatic deregistration from the Northern Football League, and any other Australian rules competition, for breaching the 16-match threshold.

The life ban would begin immediately. The AFL would then be forced to decide whether it wants a hothead deemed unsafe to play football employed at AFL House.
Fahour has worked as the league’s diversity manager since 2011. He previously worked for Essendon.
The AFL and chief executive Gillon McLachlan will remain silent until after tomorrow’s hearing, which will be held at Northern Football League headquarters in Greensborough.
AFL Victoria introduced the 16-week threshold in 2008 to weed out “players/officials who could pose an unacceptable risk’’ to others.
AFL Victoria and the Northern Football League have today repeatedly refused to hand over Fahour’s tribunal record.
The records are not available publicly and AFL Victoria media officer Anthony Stanguts said they would remain hidden “so as not to prejudice the (tribunal) result”.
But it is understood that Fahour was suspended for four matches in 2010, from two separate charges.
Fahour was rubbed out for three matches for striking a Macleod opponent in Round 3 this season.
Fahour also received a severe reprimand for misconduct in 2012, when he jumped the fence and tangled with a spectator.
There have been wide calls for the AFL to immediately sack Fahour from figures including Collingwood premiership captain Tony Shaw.
The Herald Sun yesterday revealed the sickening footage as Fahour coward-punched a young father, Whittlesea opponent Dale Saddington, while playing for West-Preston Lakeside on Saturday.
Fahour ran towards the melee and struck Saddington, who had been grappling with Fahour’s teammate and former St Kilda forward Ahmed Saad.
The tribunal will not be open to the media.
