NORTH Melbourne has given ruckman Todd Goldstein a reprieve.

After two weeks in the VFL, the All-Australian big man returns to face Collingwood at the MCG on Saturday. Goldstein replaces Majak Daw in the Kangaroos line-up while Jarrad Waite is injured and has been replaced by Nick Larkey. AFL DAILY: ALL THE LATEST FOOTY NEWS IN ONE PLACE PIES RUMOURS: IS MICK MALTHOUSE HEADING BACK TO COLLINGWOOD? The Magpies are unchanged to the clash after their draw against Adelaide last week. Ahead of Friday night’s blockbuster against Geelong, Sydney has been dealt a major blow with captain Josh Kennedy succumbing to a hamstring injury. Kennedy is one of four changes for John Longmire after falling to Hawthorn last week. Daniel Robinson, Jordan Foote and Sam Naismith making way for Kurt Tippett, Sam Reid, Gary Rohan and Jake Lloyd. If you didn’t already know, the Cats will be without Patrick Dangerfield and Nakia Cockatoo is injured. Zach Guthrie and Sam Simpson come in. On Saturday, the Western Bulldogs will be without captain Bob Murphy and premiership forward Tory Dickson for the trip to Brisbane to face the Lions. Adding intrigue to the selection, Murphy has been listed as a travelling emergency, meaning he is still a chance to suit up at the Gabba. Jack Redpath returns from suspension to partner Travis Cloke in attack while Clay Smith also returns. Melbourne has been boosted by the return of co-captain Nathan Jones, Bernie Vince and Cam Pedersen while Corey Maynard will make his AFL debut against GWS in Canberra. “Nathan and Bernie — a couple of experienced players are ready to go,” coach Simon Goodwin said. “He was pretty close last week, Nath, it was hard to hold him back, but he’s 100 per cent ready to go this week.” The Giants will welcome back Steve Johnson, Shane Mumford and Jacob Hopper while Brett Deledio will play his first game in orange since making the move from Richmond last year. While Deledio makes his return, former teammate Jack Riewoldt will miss another week with an eye injury. Riewoldt was injured at training last week and missed last week’s win over Gold Coast and will miss Sunday’s blockbuster against Hawthorn at the MCG. Instead, Dion Prestia returns alongside Ben Lennon while Jack Graham is in line to make his debut. The Hawks will be without the suspended Luke Hodge as Paul Puopolo, Ty Vickery, Kurt Heatherley and Teia Miles are in the 25-man squad. Finally, Gary Ablett has been named by Gold Coast and coach Rodney Eade expects the two-time Brownlow Medallist to not only fly to Perth but face Fremantle on Saturday. Ablett, co-captain Steven May, Dan Currie, Trent McKenzie, Mitch Hallahan and Josh Schoenfeld are all in while Michael Rischitelli (rested), Jarrad Witts (injured), Jesse Lonergan, Callum Ah Chee, Brayden Fiorini and Ben Ainsworth (injured) are out. Fremantle have made two changes; Danyle Pearce and Jon Griffin replacing Connor Blakely (shoulder) and Sean Darcy.
