The star defender was confident he had avoided an ACL tear and knee reconstruction after hyper-extending his knee in the win over Adelaide. I’m going to push as hard as I can to get back. “It’s not ideal (but) I have to do my rehab right and hopefully I can get back.” Giants coach Leon Cameron updated Sam Reid and Josh Kelly’s condition after the match. “Reid has been assessed for a hamstring but we don’t know if it’s neural or actually a hamstring,” he said. “Shaw doesn’t look great but they don’t think it’s an ACL so looks like a PCL but we won’t know how long until scans on Monday. “Kelly has a bit of a headache, he’s not just an outstanding footballer but he’s a tough cookie.
