JACK Watts will return to Melbourne's side to face Fremantle in Perth on Sunday.

Watts and Shannon Byrnes have been added to the Dees' side at the expense of Jimmy Toumpas (ankle) and James Strauss.

First-round pick Hayden Crozier returned for the Dockers after goalsneak Michael Walters was ruled out with injury.

Hawthorn opted against resting any stars against Gold Coast, but did axe veteran Michael Osborne.

Meanwhile, Heath Shaw will miss the Magpies' clash against Sydney, but Bryce Gibbs and Stevie J are back.

Collingwood says Shaw, who has served a one-match suspension, could not be considered due to a "minor lower back complaint".

The Pies made one change, bringing in Marty Clarke and dropping Josh Thomas.

Sydney also made just one change for the Friday night blockbuster, recalling Jed Lamb and axing Tommy Walsh.

In other selection news:

BRYCE Gibbs returns for Carlton after missing three weeks with a hamstring injury. He replaces Troy Menzel.

STEVE Johnson returns for Geelong after a week off with a calf injury.

PORT Adelaide has made four changes, with Jake Neade and Lewis Stevenson among the outs and Sam Colquhoun one of the inclusions.
