UPDATE 2.10pm: THE girl who posted nude photos of St Kilda players on Facebook was the centre of angry scenes at Saints training today.

According to those at the ground, who witnessed the events she was the subject of abuse from other Saints fans.

On leaving she scattered posters with slogans including "liars" and "St Scandal".

The teenager posted on Twitter this afternoon: "Well today was certainly interesting.. Felt weird seeing the team after so long.. Banners were good xx"

She became the centre of a storm after posting photos of St Kilda skipper Nick Riewoldt and teammates Zac Dawson and Nick Dal Santo on Facebook before Christmas.

The Saints say the images were taken without permission from the laptop of defender Sam Gilbert.

On December 24 she agreed to hand the photos over to a court and destroy any copies she had. The court ordered mediation between the girl and the club before January 28.

The Saints today released a statement from CEO Michael Nettlefold on the club website that did not refer to today's incident but said the drama surrounding the photos "is clearly a difficult and complex situation". Nettlefold said he "couldn't be more proud" of the club and its players.

"While we recognise that there are sensitivities for the young woman, there are however also sensitivities for our players and in particular, players that have never met her or had any association with her," Nettlefold said.

"We will continue to explore all options to bring this matter to a close in the most sensitive way possible for all concerned.

"We couldn’t be more proud of the St Kilda Football Club, our playing and coaching group and what they stand for, their integrity and what they have achieved in recent years and we are looking forward to season 2011, which is rapidly approaching."
