AFL teams: Full line-ups for 2016 qualifying, elimination finals

NORTH Melbourne has put its faith in Drew Petrie and Majak Daw as it fights to keep its season alive against Adelaide.

The Kangaroos named an unchanged line-up from the team that lost to GWS in Round 23 — when Petrie had just four disposals — after key talls Jarrad Waite and Scott Thompson failed to prove they were over injuries.

The Roos gambled on players with proven fitness — Waite (hip) hasn’t played since Round 19 and Thompson left the field with an adductor injury against Sydney in Round 22.

Drew Petrie gets at least one more chance for the Kangaroos.

Geelong has also opted against playing a key-position player under an injury cloud, with Lachie Henderson failing to make the cut for the blockbuster qualifying final against Hawthorn.

The Cats made just one change, with Scott Selwood in for Jed Bews.

The Hawks recalled Ben McEvoy and Ben Stratton at the expense of Marc Pittonet and Billy Hartung while Adelaide also made two changes. Rory Sloane is back after serving a one-match suspension and Brodie Smith has recovered from concussion.
