COLLINGWOOD defender Paul Seedsman says the Magpies are determined to eradicate inconsistencies in their game as they prepare to take on hapless Melbourne in Monday's Queen's Birthday clash at the MCG.
Seedsman insisted today complacency against the struggling Demons would not be a concern, with the Magpies focused on delivering across four quarters.
"We haven't played a full four-quarter game all year so our main goal is to play four quarters this week against Melbourne and hopefully not ease up at any stage,'' Seedsman said.
"We were good in the first half against Brisbane and then faded in the second half, so a four-quarter effort this week is our main goal.
"In today's game there is so much on momentum so at some stage the opposition is going to get on top of you and you just have to do your best to nullify the effect, especially on the scoreboard.
"We're looking into that and working on different areas that we think are the reasons.''

Seedsman said he was also focused on building on his own game after a standout performance in last week's win over Brisbane at the Gabba.
The 21-year-old collected 28 possessions and eight marks in his role across half-back in one of his best performances for the club.
"I was obviously happy to have an impact and do something for the team, but I have got to look forward to this week and back it up,'' Seedsman said.
"It is no good playing one good game and then having a stinker the next week. I am looking forward to getting out there against Melbourne and playing well.''
Seedsman, who has played 19 games since his 2012 debut, said he was enjoying learning from senior teammates Scott Pendlebury and Heath Shaw
"Everyone knows Pendlebury is one of the ultimate professionals in the game and he has helped me with off-field stuff as we well as on-field, like recovery and diet and everything like that,'' Seedsman said
"And Heath Shaw is one of the best one-on-one defenders in the game, he can play on talls, mediums and smalls so his versatility is there and then when we get the ball he is also one of the most damaging offensive half-backers.
"That's the position that I have been playing lately so I just try to learn off how he goes about it.''
