Collingwood has emphatically shot down claims that one of its players was filmed without consent performing a sex act in a toilet cubicle.

The video has been circulated on social media with some members of the public incorrectly linking a person in the video to a member of the Magpies’ playing list.

The footage is captured by a person who lifts their phone camera above a toilet cubicle’s door and seemingly without the consent of the pair who are engaged in the explicit act inside the cubicle.

The video has been doing the rounds for about two weeks.

But the Magpies chose to go public on Thursday to finally quash the rumour once and for all.

“We are aware of a video currently circulating alleging to involve a Collingwood player and their partner,” Pies CEO Craig Kelly said.

“Another former Collingwood player has been linked to capturing the video.

“The club wishes to address the matter to make clear both these allegations are completely untrue and the video being circulated does NOT involve any current or former Collingwood players or their partners.

“For all members of the public, it is important to note the distribution of explicit content without the consent of all parties involved is a criminal offence.

“We will continue to support all our players and their families during this time.”
