GEELONG has locked away four of its emerging stars in a massive coup for the club.

Sam Menegola, Nakia Cockatoo, James Parsons and Brandan Parfitt have put pen to paper, extending their respective stays at the Cats.

Menegola and Parsons both signed three-year deals, anchoring the pair at the club until at least the end of 2020.

Cockatoo recommitted for another two years, extending his stay until at least the end of 2019, while Parfitt signed a one-year extension, also taking him until the end of 2019.

Geelong’s general manager of football Steve Hocking suggested the signings augured well for the club’s future.

“Sam, Nakia, James and Brandan have all had different journeys to get to where they are, but their level of resilience, commitment and professionalism remains alike,” Hocking said.

“It’s exciting to see four of our promising talents recommit to the club, we see a bright future for them here at Geelong.”
