A PRESS conference with Carlton coach Mick Malthouse turned sour on Saturday over a noisy pastry wrapper.

Mick was talking about the Blues’ chances against Port Adelaide in their first game of the season when he became distracted by a photographer rustling some food wrappers.

MALTHOUSE SAYS EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED

The snapper insists he was moving some nearby litter rather than taking advantage of the free food provided, but regardless of the reasons for the noise, Mick snapped.

If the message wasn’t clear enough, a Carlton staff member delivered the coach’s message personally after the press conference ended.
