Carlton announces big plans for Ikon Park

Carlton president Mark LoGiudice has revealed ambitious plan to turn Ikon Park into a high-performance hub of women’s football and says the club’s deepest rebuild will soon begin to pay.

‘Relaxed’ Parker ready to make presence felt

Alyce Parker is the youngest GWS player by 12 months and while at times she admits it can be “intimidating”, she’s not letting her age hold her back as she looks to make a bigger impact on the field after settling into life as an athlete.

Worry over AFLW expansion

Western Bulldogs premiership coach Paul Groves has voiced his concern at the rapid expansion of AFLW, fearing it will be difficult to find 120 elite players to fill out the four new teams set to join the competition next season.

Win’s a win: Time to get over low AFLW scoring

Collingwood was held to the equal lowest total in AFLW history, sparking debate over the game’s low scoring. But Magpies captain Steph Chiocci says she “couldn’t care less” about the score, as long as the team wins.
