AFLW season Round 6: Complete guide

WE’RE in the final month of the AFLW season and tensions are running high as the Grand Final approaches. If you’re watching Round 6 this week, here’s our guide to who’s playing when, and how to get there.

WE’RE now in the final month of the AFLW season and tensions are running high as the Grand Final approaches. If you’re watching Round 6 this week, here’s our guide to who’s playing when, and how to get there.

Once again the games this round are free to attend, with the first match between the Adelaide Crows and Fremantle Dockers kicking off on Friday, March 9.

You won’t need them as this weekend’s games are free entry. Be aware that venues are subject to capacity restrictions, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

CAR: Venue parking is available, however there is no public on-street parking.

BUS: Take the route 5 bus which stops at the venue.

CAR: There are a few parking options around the venue, refer to this detailed parking map.

BUS: There will be free chartered buses for all Giants games at Manuka Oval this season, see venue website for further details.

HOW TO GET THERE

CAR: There is limited on-street parking in the area. Your best option is to park at Melbourne Zoo where it’s only $2 for five hours.

TRAM: Take the route 19 tram to stop 16 (Princes Park/Royal Parade).

TRAIN: Take the Upfield train to Royal Park station.

BUS: Take route 123 to stop 16 (Walker St).
