AFLW 2023: Every player invited to the AFL Women’s draft combine

From father-daughter chances to the next big names, check out every player invited to this year’s AFL Women’s draft combines, which are set to kick off later this month. Check out the full list.

The names are in and the dates are set – 83 players have been invited to attend the AFL Women’s draft combine which will be staged across the country starting later this month.

Young female players from Grovedale to Glenorchy and Pennant Hills to the Pines will be put through their paces at testing combines across the country with the boys’ state draft combine also being held.

Physical testing is set to include the vertical jump, running vertical jump, 20-metre sprint, agility test and a 2km time trial.

AFLW recruiters provided nominations for the combine list, with attendees then selected.

The list of names includes potential father-daughter pick Jemma Rigoni, daughter of former Melbourne player Guy Rigoni, who plays as a defender for Oakleigh Chargers and who made her debut for Casey earlier this season.

Kyanne Campbell is another potential father-daughter selection after her father Fred played seven games at St Kilda and five at the Swans.

Alyssia Pisiano is a top Victorian chance to go early in this year’s draft, while West Adelaide’s Lauren Young – who has been selected to attend the South Australian combine – is a key position prospect who has been noted by scouts alongside fellow South Australian Shineah Goody.

The NSW combine is slated for Monday, September 25, with Victoria, Queensland, Northern Territory, South Australia and Western Australia to follow into October.
