2025 AFLW Draft Dossier: The top 35 prospects, whispers and scouting notes

The AFLW draft is fast approaching and while Gold Coast Academy prospects are tipped to dominate the pointy end, there’s still plenty of stars on offer around Australia. Get all the intel and full profiles on this year’s top draft prospects.

A compromised draft pool with little depth beyond the first round? We’ve heard this one before.

This year’s AFLW draft shares remarkable similarities with last month’s AFL draft, with Gold Coast Academy products set to dominate the pointy end.

Four Suns are viewed as top 10 prospects, headlined by No.1 pick fancy Ava Usher, but as many as 10 could make their way onto AFLW lists.

However, there are still some exciting players on the open market – from gun midfielders to running defenders and goalkicking key forwards.

Clubs believe the top 10-15 will pick themselves but it’ll quickly become a needs-based draft after that.

And with plenty of picks swapping hands in the trade period, it’s set to be an unpredictable draft night.

Here are 35 of the top prospects to watch ahead of the draft on December 15.
