AGITATOR Tomas Bugg will get the chance for redemption after Carlton offered the delisted Melbourne firebrand a lifeline in the rookie draft.
Bugg, who notoriously served a six-game ban in 2017 for striking Sydney Swans youngster Callum Mills off the ball, played only three AFL games last season at the Demons.

The Blues took former St Kilda defender Hugh Goddard with the first pick in the rookie draft.
Goddard played only a handful of games with the Saints in a three-year career dogged by injury.
Gold Coast, Brisbane, Collingoood, Essendon and North Melbourne made good of pledges to re-draft the likes of Michael Rischitelli, Ryan Bastinac, Tim Broomhead, Matt Dea and Kyron Hayden.
In total, 18 of the 40 rookies named were players re-drafted by their own AFL clubs, including Magpie Tim Broomhead who sustained a gruesome broken leg last season.
North Adelaide defender Callum Wilkie (St Kilda) and Port Melbourne ruckman Kieran Strachan (Adelaide) were among a handful of state-league prospects to land at AFL clubs, while the Kangaroos plucked 22-year-old Tom Wilkinson from NEAFL side Southport four years after the ex-Sandringham Dragon was overlooked in the draft.
In a surprise move Hawthorn pounced on former GWS Giants defender Tim Mohr with pick No. 43, while Collingwood and Sydney re-drafted Sam Murray (suspended) and Kurt Tippett (retired) despite the pair not playing next season.
