In fact, it was a night of upsets in the individual club winners.
Among the big name favourites to go over included Sydney’s Luke Parker and Greater Western Sydney’s Josh Kelly.
Parker was edged out by Callum Mills while two Giants, Jacob Hopper and Tim Taranto, finished above Kelly.

Meanwhile at Collingwood, Jordan De Goey fell short of teammate Jack Crisp by three votes.
Some favourites did manage to salute though.
Cam Guthrie, David Mundy, Rory Laird and Dustin Martin all came through with the goods.
