After forensically analysing the defenders, midfielders and forwards at every club, here’s my overall list rankings heading into season 2023.

It’s little surprise to see the reigning premiers on top, with Geelong ranking first for defenders and forwards and sixth for midfielders.

At the other end of the table, North Melbourne ranked last in all three categories to sit as the worst list in the competition.

Richmond came in fifth and Carlton sixth, both ahead of Collingwood in seventh place.
