The biggest move at the top end came from Collingwood, which opted for Ferntree Gully midfielder Jaidyn Stephenson after a battery of medical tests. RE-CAP EVERY PICK OF THE 2017 AFL DRAFT BELOW A heart condition picked up during draft testing turned a number of clubs off the line-breaking midfielder. North Melbourne injected excitement into its rebuild by taking Luke Davies-Uniacke at pick four. Davies-Uniacke wants to play Round 1 next year and models his game on attacking midfielders Dustin Martin and Nat Fyfe. St Kilda also had two selections in the top 10, taking offensive half-back Hunter Clark and Northern Knights defender Nick Coffield. After injury dramas for top selections Paddy McCartin and Hugh Goddard, the Saints have made what are viewed as two very solid choices this year. Fremantle also took no risks, taking touted future captain Andrew Brayshaw - brother of Demon Angus - with pick two and Adam Cerra at pick five. The Western Bulldogs selected Western Australian defender Aaron Naughton at pick nine.
