Singer Ashlee Simpson tweets engagement to actor Evan Ross, Diana Ross's son

ASHLEE Simpson is preparing to walk down the aisle a second time, with the singer Tweeting that she’s engaged to actor boyfriend Evan Ross.

ASHLEE Simpson is preparing to walk down the aisle a second time, with the singer confirming on Twitter that she’s engaged to actor boyfriend, Evan Ross.

"My baby love and I are ENGAGED!!!" Simpson wrote. "Hallelujah Hawaii!!!"

Ross, 25, who’s the son of legendary singer Diana Ross, also tweeted his joy.

"The love of my life said YES!!!!!!"

Ross, who’s set to star in the next installment of the Hunger Games series, told Yahoo Insider in November that the singer is “the one” for him.

“I'm so in love, and we've got amazing things going on," he said.

“We inspire each other.”

It seems that 29-year-old Simpson is clearly inspired enough to enter into another marriage. She was previously married to Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, with whom she has a five-year-old son, Bronx.
