Cashed-up buyers are leaving no stone unturned when it comes to luxury finishes with some surprising additions.
The $300m prestigious development at the Mantaray Marina and Residences in Main Beach offers buyers the chance to customise their homes with the assistance of interior designer Sue Hiscox from Inarc Design and experience apartment-style living without compromising on space.
Gordon Corp Sales and Marketing Director Lara Dimond said each residence will uniquely reflect their purchasers.
“The advantage of securing a residence before construction begins is the ability to customise without compromise. It’s for visionaries who have a strong desire to sculpt their own dream lifestyle within the privacy of their home.
“One of our four-bedroom apartment purchasers at The Mantaray Residences has removed two bedrooms to create an enormous living area and a dedicated wellness space. Another penthouse purchaser has changed the entry to their home, creating large ‘his and hers’ office spaces so they can operate their business from their 1,100 sqm residence.
“The three and four-bedroom villas, sup-penthouses and penthouses within The Mantaray Residences are akin to that of a large home and provide a distinct, secure, and private offering to traditional housing options.
Ms Dimond said apartment living doesn’t always have to mean downsizing.
“Our three and four-bedroom villas, sub-penthouses and penthouses range from 429sq m to 1,100sq m in size,” she said.
“Our design approach offers the luxury, security and amenities of apartment-style living without any compromise on space, with fully customisable, expansive homes that mirror the lifestyle and aspirations of their future residents.”
Interior designer and Inarc Director Sue Hiscox said buyers are already tapping into interior styling trends, including wellness retreats and working from home spaces, in creating their dream spaces.
“It is great that they are offering this ability for these high-end purchasers to be flexible and allowing us to develop and customise their homes to suit their style,” Ms Hiscox said.
“We have been considerate of the existing layout and floor plans so that should they want to reinstate the previous plan later for resale, we can do that as well. The interesting thing about our interior selections is that they can splinter in either direction.
“The Grigio Orsola limestone featured throughout the floors, walls and benches and fluted in the kitchen splashback and the master ensuite is warm and soft so that it can apply to the more sophisticated pallet with Everneer Walnut Timber veneer, produced in Italy from Alpiwood.
Ms Hiscox also said the rich Vigo Lena Marble on feature joinery in the kitchen and ensuite and the Chunky Felted 100 per cent New Zealand wool carpets could transcend into a coastal scheme with lighter timbers on the cabinetry.
“We have a very minimal pallet of materials, but we have articulated them with a lot of different details across the joinery and the walls to create a very sophisticated contemporary apartment that will stand the test of time,” she said
“Another standout feature is the wavelike design carved into the Mafi Fresca Duna bar front, which speaks to the location and is produced in the village of Schneegattern, half an hour from Salzburg, Austria.”
The project is set to be the first of its kind with private amenities, including an exclusive on-water members-only lounge in the heart of the superyacht marina, a health and wellness club, a resort-style pool, and access to the private grounds of Rivermead Estate in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
Two and three-bedroom residences start from $4.1m, with four-bedroom roof terrace residences starting from $11.1 million, and the penthouse collection starting from $14.4m.
