St Kilda star ruckman Paddy Ryder and his wife Jessica have listed their family home in Moonee Ponds, saying the time is right to let it go.
Ryder started his 269-game AFL career with Essendon before joining Port Adelaide and then the Saints for the past two seasons.
The three-bedroom home at 7 Ovens St has a $1.4m-$1.5m price guide with an auction set for December 18, via agent Oren Flamm from Hodges.

“It’s the right time to sell,’’ Ryder said.
“We won’t be moving back into it and I’ll keep living with my cousin in Melbourne.”
Jessica and their three children, Liliana, 11, Harlan, 8 and Sage, 2, have been in Adelaide since the start of this year.
“We had that house for 10 years, when Patrick was playing at Essendon,’’ Jessica said.
“It was our first family home purchased together and we brought our two youngest up there.
“We’d always be up and down Puckle St and we still use our local butcher, Portherhaus Moonee Ponds, on Pratt St.
“It’s a beautiful quiet street and you can walk to parks and restaurants. It was a nice, warm and welcoming house.”
Queens Park, Moonee Valley Racecourse, public transport links and schools are also nearby.
Period features, including high ceilings and polished floorboards, feature throughout the single-storey home.
A hallway flows past the three bedrooms and dining room to an open-plan living and kitchen zone at the rear, which opens out to a covered alfresco area and sun-drenched garden.
The Ryders spent some time living in Bentleigh in 2020, but have preferred the quieter lifestyle of Adelaide.
“If we come back, we’d probably live down the Mornington Peninsula,’’ Jessica said.
Ryder is signed with the Saints for another year and was at the club last week training with the younger players.
“We’re trying to build a successful team,’’ he said.
CoreLogic records show the property last changed hands for $870,000 in 2010.
