The premiership player and former captain, known as Boomer, holds the record for the most AFL matches, playing a total of 432 games across his decorated 20-year career.
He broke Hawthorn great Michael Tuck’s record of 426, joining the ranks of just a handful of players who have notched more than 400 games, and was a four-time All-Australian before he retired in 2016.
The “resort-style” home is tucked away in one of Yarrambat’s “most highly sought streets” and delivers “entertaining excellence” for families, according to the realestate.com.au listing.
A winding driveway flanked by rolling lawns leads to the Hamptons-inspired house.
Inside, stone benchtops, matt black fittings, bespoke gloss-finished cabinetry and black Smeg appliances ensure the “gourmet kitchen” caters for all occasions in style.
The main bedroom of “retreat size proportions” has the luxury of a spa ensuite, fitted dressing room and a walk-in wardrobe.
Several living rooms were also on offer, including a fitted home theatre, while the triple-car garage integrates a wine cellar with a tasting room and an office – making it the perfect property for lockdown.
“The resort-style attractions include a pool in sandstone-paved surrounds, a decked alfresco space with built-in barbecue and a stunning summerhouse,” the listing reads.
The additional “poolside sanctuary” has its own expansive living and entertainment spaces, gymnasium, kitchen, a central bathroom and a “super-sized bedroom” upstairs.
