His girlfriend Cassie, a recording artist and model, replied on social media saying, "It's definitely smiling. Its perfect!"

Diddy, 44, and Cassie, 27, rarely speak about their relationship but have been dating since 2007 according to TMZ.

A friend of Cassie's later posted a photo of the potential Mrs Diddy wearing the expensive ring.
